Emily Miller, a child from the farmlands of Illinois and a graduate of the Memphis College of Art, is currently working as an illustrator in Nashville, TN. Focused on revitalizing walls and beautifying old buildings, you can find her artwork in hidden and surprising places throughout Nashville.
Her work depicting flora and fauna are placed on buildings that have been condemned, forgotten and abandoned and are meant to breathe new life into these buildings and the community around them.
She has collaborated with us at Local Honey to bring her unique perspective to “YOU ARE OK.”
Inspired by her house plants, she found affirmation in their growth in the dark winter months. She has created an image of these inspiring plants to remind us that sometimes, it’s the simple things that remind us we are ok.
